The purpose of the Minister of Music and Worship is to oversee and provide spiritual leadership and creative support to leading the musical, creative, and artistic aspects of the Worship experience of the church body.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- The main focus will be designing, leading, and administrating Sunday morning gatherings, but will also include seasonal gatherings (Easter week, Christmas, etc.) and other church celebrations, as necessary.
- All-Staff meetings (weekly)
- Work with the Pastor to design corporate worship services
- Sunday services, including extra videos/skits/announcements
- Special services during the year (Christmas, Easter Week, etc.)
- Funerals and Weddings, recruiting tech teams when necessary
- Communicate information to the secretary
- Lead in the worship service
- Communicate ministry needs to other leaders (Care Team, Safety, etc.)
- Encourage the congregation in worship as a lifestyle
- Regular/informal teaching moments
- Scripture reading in the service
- Facebook posts for Encouragement on Fridays
- Lead the Praise Team (instrumental and vocal)
- Schedule band members in rotating teams
- Choose appropriate and varied songs for services

- Order any needed equipment
- Make and distribute cue sheets for services
- Rehearse the band
