Executive Pastor

The executive pastor will be responsible for implementing and executing the vision cast by the lead pastors. This position will assist the lead pastors in leading and directing the staff, including supervising a number of staff members, to maximize their gifts and ensure the church’s overall strategy is implemented through ministry effectiveness and alignment. In addition, this role will also oversee the church’s operations from a high level and report directly to the lead pastors. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee several staff members by regularly meeting with them for support, ministry assessment, goal setting, development plan, coaching, and conducting evaluations.
• Assist in leading staff meetings and creating intentional activities, environments, opportunities, etc., to improve staff culture, morale, and relationships.
• Work alongside the ministry leaders to ensure ministries are healthy and thriving and implement the vision of the church set by the lead pastors through maintaining a cultural alignment on the ‘5 Main areas of focus’ at Keystone. (Sunday worship experience, The Next Generation, Serving + Outreach, Groups + Community, Evangelism + Discipleship)
• Work alongside the staff to ensure the right priorities are carried out across key events, ministries, and programs so there is alignment, cohesion, and health.
• Lead, develop and guide the Groups Ministry and the key volunteers that serve in creating opportunities for life-giving community.
• Provide oversight of all business related aspects of the church to ensure effective operational flow including oversight with the church budget.
• Oversee, direct and support our Local + Global missions teams and initiatives.
• Assist in high-level problem solving, communion, baptisms, prayer/worship nights, member meetings, counseling, be available to teach in other adult equipping groups, and whatever projects and tasks are needed.
