Youth Pastor and / or Worship Leader

Opportunity for full-time employment for the right individual who can serve as both Youth Pastor and Church worship leader. However, each job description is listed and can be applied for separately.

Part-time youth pastor (avg 20 hours per week)

A qualified candidate will be able to lead, teach, communicate and relate to students 6th - 12th grade.

This is an opportunity for someone looking to lead and mentor teens without giving up other employment. This could also be an open door for a young individual that has a passion for teens and is wanting to get started in this kind of ministry. There is room for flexibility in how the role is filled.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

· Lead weekly meeting as well as plan additional youth events

· Plan and coordinate all elements of youth meeting

· Prepare appropriate teachings in line with the church's beliefs

· Build relationships that nurture trust with pastors, students and parents

· Engage with congregation on a regular basis not only during worship but also after services

· Collaborate with lead pastor to ensure direction of ministry reflects church’s mission

· Recruit and train team members

· Participate in ministry leader meetings.

· Ability to comply with Bridge to Life policy and procedures for all staff and volunteer ministry leaders

· Willingness to immerse in church life and make Bridge to Life your home church

Part-time worship leader (avg 12 hours per week)

A qualified candidate will be able to lead contemporary worship with a team, engage the congregation, and be familiar with technology.

This is an opportunity for someone looking to lead a team without giving up full-time employment. This could also be an open door for a young worship leader wanting to get started in this kind of ministry. There is room for flexibility in how the role is filled.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

· Lead worship vocally while playing an instrument

· Plan and coordinate all musical elements of worship

· Prepare music appropriate for church’s current style while introducing church to new music

· Possess knowledge of sound equipment and how to mix sound

· Engage with congregation not only during worship but also after service

· Collaborate with lead pastor to ensure worship reflects church’s mission

· Recruit and train production team members

· Participate in ministry leader meetings.

· Ability to comply with Bridge to Life policy and procedures for all staff and volunteer ministry leaders

· Willingness to immerse in church life and make Bridge to Life your home church
