Role Responsibilities - General

  • Demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ as evidenced by actions, attitudes and behaviors on display for others to see.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain healthy and motivating relationships with supervisors, co-workers and Bridge Builders.
  • Collaborate with leaders to build relationships through weekly communication and Bridge Builder care by communicating vision and strategy.

Role Responsibilities - Student Ministry

  • Lead and direct all student ministry programming and Bridge Builders for Rock Bridge Chatsworth.
  • Develop student ministry Bridge Builders quarterly using the E4 model (Enlist, Equip, Empower, Encourage).
  • Collaborate with the Student Ministry Team in the planning and execution of weekly student environments and big events.
  • Implement all policies and guidelines as established in the Student Ministry Playbook.
  • Encourage and lead students to use their God given gifts to serve in ministry (H.O.P.E. Initiatives, serving at RBCC, The Link and mission trips).
  • Provide support for students and their families through care and counseling.
  • Attend 2-4 student extracurricular activities per month (sporting events, school performances, etc.) to invest in them outside of RBCC.
  • Plan and execute 2-4 midsize gatherings per year for Bridge Builders in order to build community.
  • Provide for summer student engagement with at least 4-6 events.

Role Responsibilities - Discipleship

  • Support adult ministries including the connection of guests, new members, new believers to community/serve/baptism/membership.
  • Co-Lead connection events and strategies in partnership with the Campus Pastor including: Group connection events, training, and “All In” events.
  • Collaborate with the Discipleship Team to plan and execute discipleship strategies.
  • Lead, manage and champion Adult Small Groups.
  • Lead recruitment and training efforts of new small group leaders to provide a constant offering of group life furthering discipleship at the campus.

Rock Bridge Community Church was planted in 2002 by Matt Evans, his wife, Beth, and a core team of people who saw the need for a new kind of church. They dreamed of a church that would reach the lost, the broken, the de-churched, and the spiritually wounded people of the greater Dalton, GA area.

20 years later, Rock Bridge is a contemporary multi-site church serving Northwest Georgia and the Tennessee Valley. Currently, around 4,000 people attend one of Rock Bridge’s 6 campuses each weekend.
