We are seeking a passionate and competent Worship Pastor to lead the worship aspect of our ministry here at THC. The Worship Pastor will work alongside an amazing team that we have established!
Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
* In consultation with Pastor(s) plan, coordinate, and execute worship services.
* Provide similar support for special worship services of the church.
* Lead worship team including recruitment, development, rehearsal direction, and scheduling for volunteers.
* Develop musicians, worship leaders, and song leaders.
* Communicate and lead the worship team effectively.
* Provides worship support, leadership, and direction for other areas of the church as needed (e.g., student ministry, special events, kids ministry, etc.)
* Work alongside the production coordinator to ensure quality of Sunday morning services.
* Oversee the support and set up needs for facilities, rooms, stage, and equipment utilized for worship.
* Coordinating and assisting with the set-up of the stage for worship and rehearsals and tear down and clean-up of these same areas pre- and post- worship, if needed.
* Other duties as required by the Lead Pastor.
Experience and Knowledge Needed:
* Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to learn and use Planning Center.
* Proficiency in voice and piano or guitar.
* Ability to create, coordinate, and lead a worship experience with a team.
* Be proficient in or willing to learn sound, lighting, and live streaming systems
* Minimum of three years of leadership in worship ministry
