Student Minister
First Baptist Church Chandler (FBC) is a thriving, Bible-believing congregation located in the vibrant city of Chandler, Arizona, within the greater Phoenix metro area. Our church family is marked by its multi-generational and multi-ethnic composition, making it a rich and diverse community dedicated to the principles of faith in Christ, love, and service. FBC has maintained a tradition of stability, with several staff members serving faithfully in their roles for over a decade, a testament to our strong commitment to our mission. We are a Southern Baptist Church with an average attendance of 500, including 40+ students.
We are currently seeking a Student Minister to join our team and lead a growing student ministry forward to greater heights. The ideal person is a dynamic, innovative leader who has experience and skills in team building, volunteer recruiting and training, and organization. This person has a passion for leading students, works to strengthen families, and has great interpersonal skills when working with parents and students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Disciple/Mentor Students 7th - 12th Grades
Recruit and Train Volunteers
Plan Events for Students
Oversee Ongoing Student Ministries
QUALIFICATIONS:
A strong commitment to the Christian faith and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Biblically Sound
College Degree
Minimum of 3 years experience with Students
