JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Disciple Jr. and Sr. High students and help them become disciple-makers
- Lead weekly youth gatherings, Sunday morning small groups, and Jr. High Confirmation
- Mentor students to go deeper with God, grow closer to each other, and spread the Gospel
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and equip adult volunteers and leaders
- Attend students’ sporting events, performances, and extracurricular activities
- Introduce students to leadership opportunities within youth ministry and the larger church
- Expose students to serving the poor, needy, and lost through service projects
- Conduct retreats, camps, and mission trips
- Mentor and supervise youth interns
- Meet monthly with the Youth Chair, Board, and staff for long-term planning

- Passionate about Christ and helping teens discover their gifting and calling
- Compassionate, service-oriented, and a person of integrity as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7
- Spiritually mature and a positive role model
- Organized, creative, and able to take initiative
- Strong communicator, adept at interacting with parents and community
- Outgoing, thrives on building connections and fostering an engaging environment
EXPERIENCE:
- Four-year degree in a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of youth ministry leadership experience preferred
