WHO IS CORNWALL CHURCH?

OUR MISSION: We are all about helping people find and follow Jesus.

CHURCH HISTORY: Cornwall Church is more than 100 years old and has grown from a small group gathering in the beginning to a vibrant church of 1,500 with two locations for church in person as well as an online community.

Gospel Living: Cornwall is a community of individuals seeking to live out God’s mission for our church. God’s call on us is not to simply “go to church” but to leave the building and “be the church.” To get “outside of the box” and make a difference in the lives of those in our community and in our world. With this in mind, there are three main anchors to Cornwall’s mission: COME & SEE | COMMUNITY | GO & BE

  • Come and See: We strive to be a church where you can come as you are and discover the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
  • Community: Community happens through relationships, recognizing that God uses other people to grow us, and us to grow other people.
  • Go & Be: We believe that all people are created in the image of God and want to serve others and enter into authentic relationships with those in need to share the hope of Jesus. Cornwall in invested in our local and global community with ongoing ministry and community partnerships.

SKAGIT CORNWALL CAMPUS DEMOGRAPHIC:

Over 11 years ago Cornwall Church started a video venue in Skagit County, WA. Over the years this church has grown into a healthy, welcoming, gracious and growing congregation. Currently our weekend service has 145-175 people in attendance, spanning from teens to 80-year-olds. Our church is mostly comprised of young families and 50-80-year-olds. Currently our middle school ministry has 18-28 students while we have 12-24 high school students at our weekly gathering.

SKAGIT CAMPUS STUDENT MINISTRY DIRECTOR:

We are looking for someone who loves Jesus Christ deeply and personally and who is passionate about sharing Jesus with students in such a way that will help them find and follow Jesus moment by moment, day by day. We have some incredible students and we truly believe that things God is stirring in an amazing way that could lead to numerical and spiritual growth for our students and our church. To be clear, we desire holistic growth, which includes numerical growth but not at the cost of spiritual growth. Intentional discipleship MUST be a part of our youth ministry.

About Cornwall Church

We are a dynamic church located in the beautiful Northwest with two locations (Bellingham, WA and Skagit Valley). We want people to be a part of a gathering where they can experience God and worship in an environment that is open to individuals who are seeking to know more about God. Our weekend services are casual “come as you are” gatherings. We invite everyone, no matter their background, to come experience a dynamic and deep encounter with Christ through modern worship, creative media and applicable teachings.

The weekend experience at both our campuses is the same - live music, compelling and inspiring teaching from God's Word, dynamic children's programs, and free coffee! The only difference at our Skagit Valley campus is that the message will be experienced via big-screen, high definition projection, and not a live speaker. So no matter which campus people attend, it is still Cornwall.

Our vision is to help others find and follow Jesus.
