Sr. Pastor Goals and Objectives
Overarching Church Goal:
To fulfill the Vision and Purpose of Midtown by being a church family that transforms lives that reflect God's rule in all that we say and do.
- Provide leadership to the entire Midtown body (individually and corporately through worship services, leadership meetings, Ministry Director/Pastor meetings, Church Community Meetings, teaching, visiting small groups, etc.)
- Encourage our people to develop a culture, which creates a spirit-filled, grace oriented, and joyful dynamic in our church family.
- Provide leadership for all the church staff. Provide hands-on direction, training, equipping, leadership and shepherding for the leaders of the following ministries: Worship, Children & Family, Youth, and Communications/Office.
- Provide leadership at the elder board level. Add new, qualified leaders to the elder board.
- Provide a strong level of pastoral shepherding for our church body, i.e., counseling, funerals, weddings, hospital visits and prayer with membership.
- Develop the administrative functions of Midtown.
- Be involved in discipleship and daily life -on -life with men of the church.
- Personally work to Improve Midtown's ability to welcome and get new people involved in the church.
- Work closely with the Youth and Children's Ministry staff and volunteers, to provide excellence in this core ministry of Midtown.
- Work to grow the volunteer basis, particularly in Children's ministry, Connection Group leaders and Nursery Staff.
- Review and expand outreach ministries for Midtown.
Compensation
Full time position as Sr. Pastor
- Total Annual Salary: $55K consisting of:
- 4-week’s annual paid time off.
- Relocation assistance (if needed) can be negotiated.
