The right candidate will provide a high level of worship leadership and worship team management for Reality Church, and will pray, develop disciples, teams, systems, strategies and personal relationships to do so. The right candidate will be devoted to consistent
personal growth in their craft and their faith. They will be excited about joining the Reality team where humility, transparency, teamwork, collaboration, and thinking outside the box are important values. At Reality we are passionate about connecting the
unchurched to Jesus, making disciples, and planting churches. These missional mandates from Jesus are how we roll, and the right candidate’s leadership will be a catalyst to this purpose.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Sunday 6:00am-1:00pm, with some flexibility and evening/weekend responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or G.E.D., college graduate preferred
- Excellent planning, organizational, prioritizing & communication skills
- Proven team building skills a must
- Ability to work well in a relational leadership environment and under short deadlines in a positive/flexible manner
- Creative thinking – out of the box thinking skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Leading teams (3-5+ years)
- Leading worship (3-5+ years)
- Demonstrates vocal excellence
- Demonstrates instrumental excellence (guitar and/or keys)
- Demonstrates an understanding of the primary band instrumentation (drums, bass, keys, guitar and vocals) in order to efficiently direct a band
- Experience using programs such as Planning Center, Ableton, and Logic are a plus, but not required
- Professional vocal and instrumental training is a plus, but not required
GENERAL ATTRIBUTES:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the planning and executing of worship services and setlists with excellence, passion and authenticity
- Recruit, build and pastor a community of musicians who are gifted, prepared, connected, healthy and growing
- Schedule volunteers with consistency and timeliness using Planning Center, providing weekly communication about programming details
- Create the necessary resources and programming using Ableton Live
- Participate in staff meetings and location specific events and initiatives such as The Garden, Huddles, conferences, worship nights, etc.
- Cooperate with the site AVL Production Technician to ensure a culture of growth and excellence within the location’s AVL team
- Act as onsite point of contact for upkeep of site auditorium and stage
- Provide music and programming for weddings and funerals
