As an Associate Pastor of Christ Community Church, you will serve as a key member of our pastoral team, providing leadership, support, and pastoral care to our congregation. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about shepherding God's people, equipping believers for ministry, and advancing the mission and vision of the church.
Responsibilities:
- Preaching and Teaching:

- Share in the preaching of sermon series as needed and teaching discipleship classes.
- Pastoral Care and Counseling:
-
- Provide pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance to individuals and families within the congregation, offering support and encouragement in times of joy, grief, and crisis.
- Leadership Development:

- Provide spiritual leadership, encouragement, and training for First Impressions teams providing innovative systems and principles to enhance guest experience.
- Groups:

- Oversee the discipleship and community groups of the church.
- Community Engagement, Outreach and Missions:

- Develop and implement strategies for engaging with the local community, building relationships with neighbors, and meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those beyond the church walls.
- Coordinate outreach events, service projects, and other initiatives to share the love of Christ and invite others into relationship with Him.
- Helps carry out the heart of missions into the life of the church through projects, trips, and connecting with current and new missionaries.
Qualifications:
- A vibrant personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to biblical truth, with a calling to pastoral ministry and shepherding God's people.
- A minister’s license
- Licensed or credentialled pastor (Assemblies of God preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in pastoral ministry, preaching, teaching, and pastoral care within a church context.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life.
- A heart for discipleship, leadership development, and empowering others for ministry.
- Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership, staff members, and volunteers to achieve shared goals and objectives.
