The Youth Pastor is a full-time position. The individual in this role will develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive youth ministry program that engages, disciples, and empowers young people in our church and community.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and develop youth ministry volunteers, ensuring they are equipped and empowered to serve effectively in their roles.
- Plan, organize, and lead weekly youth group meetings, Bible studies, and small group discussions that are engaging, relevant, and spiritually nurturing.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for youth ministry programs, including lessons, activities, and discussions that promote spiritual growth and biblical understanding.
- Plan and execute special events, such as camps, mission trips, service projects, and outreach initiatives that foster community, discipleship, and spiritual formation among youth.
- Provide care and mentorship to students, offering guidance, support, and prayer as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and grow in their faith.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with youth, parents, and volunteers, serving as a role model and demonstrating Christian character and leadership.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, keeping them informed about youth ministry programs, events, and opportunities for involvement.
- Utilize social media and other digital platforms to engage youth, promote ministry programs, and foster community among participants.
- Contribute to the overall vision and strategy of the church, and collaborate with other ministry leaders to ensure integration and alignment of youth ministry with the broader church mission.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Pastor, supporting the overall goals and objectives of the youth ministry and the church as a whole.
- Manage and provide supervision for the Part-Time Young Adults Director.
- Possibly be a part of the Directional Team.

- Proven leader and vision caster who will guide the Student Ministry team of leaders and volunteers by casting vision, training and deploying.
- Ability to work positively in a team environment.
