Local Outreach Serve Coordinator

LOWCOUNTRY COMMUNITY CHURCH exists to change lives through the message of Jesus Christ.

LOCAL OUTREACH SERVE COORDINATOR MISSION: To help lead a high-impact, highly relational outreach strategy on a local level by engaging LCC members to serve in the community at the direction of the Outreach Pastor.

The Local Outreach Serve Coordinator will be responsible for the following functions:

1. Team Builder: Help build serve teams focused on local outreach, global missions, and disaster response, and build teams based on each individual’s gifting and passions. 
2. Partnerships and logistics: Build relationships with local and global partners to initiate serve projects for our people, and lead communication between the Outreach Ministry and the local outreach partners who will be receiving teams.
3. Engagement/Next Steps:  Execute the internal strategies of the Outreach Ministry that will help people move from exposure to LowCountry Community Church to take the next steps that connect them to the church and opportunities to serve. The ideal candidate will help recruit, train, and equip volunteers from LCC to go be the hands and feet of Jesus here in the Lowcountry.
4. Internal Teams: Work with the Communications Team to clearly communicate and articulate the story of what God is doing through Outreach at LowCountry Community Church as well as Childrens, Students, and Adult Ministries to create, plan, and execute age-specific projects and partnerships for the Church to engage in.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The Local Outreach Serve Coordinator agrees and aligns with LowCountry Community Church’s vision, mission, and values, with the ability to utilize high relational capacity and administrative gifting to advance the footprint through Outreach Ministry. This individual will help oversee our serve opportunities in our community, building relationships with partners and mobilizing our people to pray, serve, give, and go. It is essential to be a strong project manager, having skills in time management, scheduling volunteers, and coordinating locations for events and vendors. They will be a strong proponent of the budget and maintain a strong grasp on the organizational side of service opportunities. An ideal candidate can multitask with several project details at once. This will be accompanied by:

• Participation in staff meetings and Outreach Team meetings
• Engagement with our congregation to get them connected to service opportunities
• Help maintain current partner relationships with those we send teams to
• Help plan and execute details and logistics for one-time and recurring service opportunities
• Effective communication skills - verbal and written

COMPENSATION:
LowCountry Community Church offers a competitive compensation package hourly commensurate with education and work experience.  Particulars of compensation will be worked out with the successful candidate upon satisfactory completion of financial and criminal background checks.
