In this role, you’ll be guiding and shaping the KidsPoint ministry across all our campuses, with a focus on our vibrant Tyrone Campus. Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Leads the KidsPoint ministry and staff in the implementation of strategy and scalability of KidsPoint across all campuses.
  • Leads the KidsPoint team in the development of experiences that engage children at an age and developmentally appropriate level, both on Sundays and for special events/holidays.
  • Leads the KidsPoint team in curriculum development, planning, scope and sequence.
  • Ensures KidsPoint staff receive appropriate onboarding, training and support across all campuses.
     

Essential Database Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations: 

  • Leads a growing and healthy KidsPoint ministry at the Tyrone Campus.
  • Regularly engages and connects with Tyrone Campus leaders and families on Sundays and throughout the week.
  • Provides leadership that grows and develops KidsPoint staff and volunteers.
  • Provides direction and support to KidsPoint Coordinators as it relates to children’s ministry.
  • Collaborates with Campus Pastors and campus teams for ministry contextualization on campuses and throughout the community.
  • Stays current with ministry trends, concepts, and ideas that promote innovation in children's ministry.
  • Promotes a culture of staff and volunteer appreciation.
  • Supports the direction of BridgePoint with regard to mission, vision and strategy.
  • Ensures regular communication with staff, volunteers and parents regarding children’s ministry.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, early childhood development, religious studies or a related field preferred, (extensive ministry experience may be considered as a substitute for required degree).
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Ability to climb stairs and navigate uneven terrain.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to drive and have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations and provide appropriate assistance.
