Trinity Baptist Ministries seeks a Worship Leader for a community-focused campus in an area with great potential for growth and service. The ideal candidate will lead and develop the worship team, currently comprising four members, with a vision to expand.
This role involves managing and nurturing the team, ensuring a blend of contemporary and traditional worship styles, and leading the community in meaningful worship experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead worship services and special events with a blend of contemporary music and classic hymns.
- Develop and manage the worship team, aiming to expand to at least five members on stage and build multiple teams for depth.
- Schedule volunteers quarterly and plan monthly setlists using Planning Center.
- Organize weekly rehearsals for deep fellowship, separate from Sunday AM soundchecks.
- Collaborate with the campus pastor and engage with the church's vision for community service, including the transformation of the gym area into a community center.
- Performance evaluation and guidance will be provided, focusing on the excellence of worship delivery and the impact on the congregation.
Qualifications
- Experience in leading worship in a church setting, with a passion for both contemporary music and hymns.
- Formal musical training (preferred) and proficiency in software such as Planning Center, ProPresenter, Ableton, and MultiTracks.com's Playback software.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and team development skills.
