Preschool Director

Nona Church is searching for a talented, full-time director to oversee the daily operation and development of the inaugural Nona Church preschool set to open in 2024! This role includes supervising and leading staff, caring for families, and ensuring NonaKids vision and values are implemented and aligned. Areas of responsiblity include program development & administration, curriculum, staff supervision, and developing relationships with parents. 

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Genuine love for children of all ages, abilities and demographics
• Passionate about seeing children grow in their relationship with Jesus
• Committed to sharing the love of Jesus in tangible ways with children and their families
• Extensive classroom management experience
• A minimum of 10 weeks field experience in a preschool setting
• One who consistently maintains grace, responsibility, and confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Eager to grow in his/her leadership and spiritual development
• Good organizational skills
• Proven attention to detail
• A collaborative team player who naturally motivates and encourages others
• Warm, friendly and professional with staff, visitors and families on the phone and in person
• Strong problem solving skills
• Able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints  
• Dependable, responsible and self-motivated
• Able to make independent decisions and work with minimal supervision
