Job Overview

We are seeking a married minister who desires to serve in a rapidly growing church in the town of Lake Ozark, MO.  We are praying to find a Senior Pastor focused on loving people through preaching the gospel, shepherding the flock, and guiding our staff and members toward reaching the lost in our community. 

Our current Sr. Pastor will be assisting the church in this search but will be stepping down once we have found the person God leads to us.  While unique, we believe this will be of great assistance to an incoming pastor and his family as they acclimate to our church and cause the least disruption to the congregation as possible.

Meet Mount Carmel Baptist Church

Founded in the early 1900’s, Mount Carmel Baptist Church (MCBC) is a Southern Baptist Church in the beautiful community of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.  The area is growing rapidly, and MCBC has experienced rapid growth over the past ten years.  Sunday morning attendance averages 200-250 and the church campus has experienced exciting enhancements over the past few years.  MCBC is a vibrant fellowship with the following characteristics:

Job Overview

We are seeking a married minister who desires to serve in a rapidly growing church in the town of Lake Ozark, MO.  This role is a dual role as Minister of Students and Associate Pastor, which we realize is unique.  We are looking for someone who could focus on the youth of our church, build a quality program in the first 3-5 years, while also developing multiple lay leadership roles.          

In addition, we are seeking someone who would aspire to transition into a lead pastor role in the future.  Initially, this role would be limited, but would include weekly duties of visitations, family ministry, preaching, and other pastoral duties in the absence of or in coordination with our lead pastor.
