To empower the approximately 200 individuals calling Valley Grace their church we emphasize the following Vision Investments.
We have taken the time to assess our strengths and weaknesses and believe we are positioned to continue to grow under the next strategic lead pastor. Fulfilling the vision that God is giving Valley Grace will require a pastor who can serve as the leader of leaders while simultaneously building relationships with current members and attenders. The new lead pastor must also strategically develop and implement the vision and passionately lead and equip the church to reach those who are not yet followers of Jesus.
Valley Grace church is located in Hagerstown, MD (western MD) roughly 10 minutes from both West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The city is situated in the Cumberland Valley, which is part of the Great Appalachian Valley. Hagerstown is often referred to as the “Hub City” and is approximately 70 miles northwest of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. at the intersection of Interstates 81 and 70. Hagerstown boasts recreational opportunities like skiing and water sports and is home to several nearby local and state parks as well as Antietam National Battlefield and the C&O Canal National Historic Park. Hagerstown includes all the amenities typical of a city including a hospital, many shopping centers, and restaurants. The city has a diverse economy, with major employers in distribution, healthcare, education, corrections, and manufacturing sectors.
