Position:  Middle School Director

General Description

The primary function of this position is to provide leadership and oversight of the middle school ministry (grades 6-8).  The position will be responsible to recruit, train, and equip volunteers to minister to students and families. The position will involve teaching students and developing a middle school ministry of care, evangelism, spiritual growth, and service. The person will provide care and guidance for youth.  The position will work to develop an effective plan to transition students to middle school as well as to high school by working with the children’s ministry leaders and high school ministry leaders. The person will assist with the high school ministry as needed. 

Education and Experience

 Undergraduate Degree

Experience working with youth and volunteers
