New Walk Church is simply an incredible church in an incredible location. We are located just north of Tampa and are only 45 minutes from Clearwater Beach and an hour from Walt Disney World. We are in a booming area with new people joining the community daily. Our church is passionate about reaching those far from God and goes to great lengths to see life change happen every weekend through our incredible services and every week through small groups and YTH programing. New Walk continues to see year over year growth of over 15% with a building expansion about to launch in the next year. It’s an incredible time to be a part of New Walk Church!
With that said, we want to give you a chance to get a feel for what we’re like here at New Walk.
First, here are two recent services, front to back. This will allow you to see what being a Team Member in our Worship Department might look like. As you watch, perhaps you can envision yourself on the stage leading with our team.

Alright, you’ve done a bit of the homework and are still interested? Great, let’s talk some specifics about this role.
This position is meant to serve as an extension of our Worship Director. That doesn’t mean you will be grabbing them coffee or ordering food, but instead you’ll assist in championing the DNA of New Walk Worship in helping to build a ministry that attracts musicians, creates transformative environments, and produces passionate followers of Jesus through music. You’ll also be the champion and primary lead for our weekly YTH Worship. You won’t be alone in this, but this will be your baby to create, experiment and help YTH connect with Jesus in real and authentic ways.
We do need to make sure we cover a few of the basics on our end in terms of your qualifications too. We need someone with strong vocals and musical talent (keyboard/guitar). It would be great if you knew music production software such as Ableton, ProTools, Logic Pro, etc. Our newest Team Member will need to be relational and can encourage and build others up, with the ability to bring loads of energy and connect with YTH in worship. This position is a great first or second opportunity in full time ministry as you learn and grow in your skills alongside our Worship Director.
