Plant seeds in children so they will find and follow Jesus

This Position Reports to: Lead Kids Pastor

Qualifications 

•  2-3 years of full-time ministry experience or volunteering at Parkway Fellowship. Preference will be given to those with
   experience in a large (1,000+), multi-site church
•  A demonstrated, growing, and personal relationship with Jesus and a working knowledge of God’s Word 
•  Must exercise the characteristic of humility and a “whatever it takes” work ethic

Responsibilities:

•  Create and maintain a system of outreach to Preschool & Elementary families in order to recruit new participants
•  Oversee and implement a comprehensive Kids Small Group program
•  Strategically plan all Kids Small Group programming and deadlines for each semester
•  Recruit, background check, and train all Kids Small Group volunteers
•  Participate in all Sunday morning Kids Ministry activities as assigned by the Kids Pastor 
•  Help evaluate, update, and communicate the most effective safety and security plans for participating kids
•  Help troubleshoot computers and keep hardware up to date, and ready for use
•  Ensure Kids Small Group webpages stay current with the help of the Kids Operations Coordinator
•  Edit and keep up to date all Kids Small Group Manuals/Playbooks
•  Create and maintain a system for evaluating the health of Kids Small Groups
