Crescent Beach Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Minister of Music. The Minister of Music's primary responsibilities will be the leadership of worship and music at all services and to oversee the shepherding and discipleship of musicians, audio technicians and live video streaming technicians. This position requires weekly rehersals with the music ministry members to facilitate an excellent worship experience in all services. The Minister of Music will also assist in the outreach and pastoral care of the congregation. The Music Minister serves as a member of the ministerial staff and works closely with and supports the Senior Pastor, connecting with his style, vision, and philosophy of ministry and worship, and his desire to engage believers and reach the lost.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a growing personal relationshp with Him. Strong candidates for this position will also have 3-5 years' experience in leading a music ministry, choirs, praise teams, and orchestras with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Church Music, Music Education, or Music Performance from an accredited college or university. The candidate should be skilled in the use of technology in worship such as sound, lighting, computers, presentation software, live video streaming software, and video projection. Church services contain a mix of both traditional and contemporary music and as such, candidates must have the ability to promote both styles of music. In addition to strong leadership, organization, communication and administration skills, candidates must demonstrate a Christ-centered leadership and a passion for serving by listening and identifying needs within the music ministry. Candidates must also effectively influence and collaborate with others and build constructive and effective relationships to improve church functionality.

Crescent Beach Baptist Church is located in St. Augustine, Florida, approximately 3 miles from Crescent Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. The church has a congregation of about 790 members, averages weekly Sunday morning attendance of about 290, conducts Sunday and Wednesday evening services, and is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
