Christ Community Church is 35 miles south of Boston, in the city of Taunton, with a population of 60,000. We live in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. No matter what you’re into, it’s here. We are close to beaches, mountains, cities, concert venues, and outdoor activities. Our area has one of the best food scenes in the country. 

About the Role: 

Christ Community Church is seeking a full-time Worship Pastor for our North Campus location. By joining this team, you would join a team marked by relational health, shared vision, and life-giving rhythms. We are a multi-site, multi-cultural body of believers unified in Christ. We have a clear vision to reach people and raise up disciples. The North Campus has doubled in size over the past year under the leadership and preaching of Pastor Jason Cross. We will be adding a second service this coming year, as well as additional ministries to serve the needs of the church and community. We have been blessed with some very gifted worship volunteers who are dedicated and ready to grow to the next level. The Worship Pastor is critical in working alongside the campus pastor to lead people in their worship of God. You will lead, care for, and develop methods to grow people’s faith toward living a life of worship. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and engage the congregation in worship through music, exhortation, and prayer.
• Collaborate with the other campus worship pastors.
• Work with the Campus Pastor in pre-planning and preparing for weekend services and transitions
• Oversee weekend worship teams, including both musicians and technicians
• Oversee worship practice 
• Recruiting, training, and caring for the worship community
• Maintain technical and media equipment 
• Ensure that media, teams, and services are planned and prepared
• Work closely with the Campus pastor to care for the body, raise up leaders, and make disciples.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years leading a worship ministry at a medium to large-sized church
• Proficient in multiple instruments and vocals
• Competent operation and basic troubleshooting of sound, lights, and media (pro presenter, planning center, Mac)
• Bachelors in worship arts from an accredited school preferred or comparable training
