Director for the King's Park Worship Team Instrumentalists/Backline

Are you passionate about worship leadership? Do you want to lead instrumentalists as part of our Worship Band? Does helping others Know God through music excite you?

You Have:

• Excellent knowledge of music techniques, theory, and performance.
• Great organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong leadership, time management, and multitasking skills.
• A strong knack for effectively training and equipping others.   
• A team-oriented and teachable disposition. 
• Willingness to relocate if necessary to work inhouse

You Also Might Have:

• Prior experience leading (volunteer) instrumentalists.
• The ability to read/compose both chord charts and/or sheet music.

Your Role on the Team:

The Musical Director will oversee the instrumentalists for the RTP/Durham Congregation, providing worship leadership to our weekly services and special events in alignment with King’s Park international church RTP/Durham vision, mission, and values.

Schedule Expectations:

• Tuesday and Sunday rehearsals/soundcheck
• Weekly Tuesday Worship Team leaders meeting and check-in with Worship Director
• 1st Sunday of the month Worship Team leaders strategic meeting 
• Additional as scheduled
