Gateway Students is in need of a relationally driven, ministry-minded, and administratively gifted individual to provide support and direction in all areas of the ministry. With the sustained growth of Gateway Baptist and our surrounding community, this position will ensure that all students and families who connect with Gateway Students are onboarded and discipled smoothly and efficiently.
Position: Girl's Director
Reports to: Student Pastor
Mission: To disciple every student to Know Jesus, Live the Word, and Love the Church.
Position Overview: Salaried Position
The Girl's Director will:
- Implement the spiritual vision and direction of the ministry
- Provide organizational management to all areas of the ministry.
- Ensure all policies and ministry standards of Gateway Baptist are met.
- Work and communicate with other ministries to ensure cooperation and unity are
protected.
- Actively disciple students through life groups and personal discipleship.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and manage social
media channels.
- Help plan and execute a yearly student ministry calendar, including overnight
events, gatherings, training meetings, and life groups.
- Recruit and develop adult student ministry leaders.
- Be present at all GS gatherings and overnight events.
- Use their unique gifting/skills to enhance the ministry.
Qualifications:
- Follower of Jesus.
- Desire to relationally minister to students and their families.
- Skilled in organizational management.
- Team player who fits Gateway staff culture.
- Ministry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
