Young Adult Pastor

Over the past two years our Young Adult ministry has been reaching people for Jesus and raising them up to be disciple makers. If you have a calling for college and young adult ministry with a passion for starting something new in the New England area you may be the person God is calling to lead this ministry. We are seeking to hire a full time Young Adult Ministry Pastor with a deep passion for Christ and the drive to reach others for Him. The Young Adult Pastor will lead our current Young Adult Ministry called Foundry while developing a ministry at a local college campus. 

God is moving in our church and our community, in some amazing ways. We plan to start an on-campus ministry at Bridgewater State University in southeastern Massachusetts. The past year we have seen hundreds of people come to faith, overcome addiction, find healing and start living their lives for Jesus. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead our current Young Adult Ministry by organizing volunteers, worship teams, preparing, delivering messages, and caring for the body
  • Develop relationships with BSU students, ministry leaders, and faculty
  • Lead a weekly relational ministry consisting of food, fellowship, devotional, and faith conversations
  • Meet weekly with the Lead Pastor and teams for planning, coaching, and care. 
  • Disciple, train and send out disciple-makers. 
  • Along with the Lead Pastor and team, grow the vision and strategy for the Young Adult Ministry (18-29)

Qualifications: 

  • Devoted follower of Jesus
  • Driven self-starter
  • Clear calling for Young Adult Ministry
  • Experience leading in Young Adult Ministry
  • Proven Disciplemaker 
  • Outgoing personality
  • Gifted team leader
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Education: 

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in relevant field
