At LifeBridge, we believe Jesus gave the church only one mission; to make mature disciples. We are looking for a Discipleship Pastor to help lead our church’s disciple-making efforts forward by speaking into the vision and direction of our discipleship pathway.
By leading the Discipleship Team, you will create and implement strategies to help fulfill our mission statement: “We exist to introduce people to Jesus and lead them in their next step with Him”.

YOU ARE A STRONG CANDIDATE IF
- You are a disciple-maker who loves helping people grow through community
- You’re continually growing in your relationship with Jesus
- You are a collaborative team player who can build teams and break down silos
- You’re an organized, creative thinker with a vision for the future
- You seek out others’ ideas and are willing to risk failure
- You’re not afraid to introduce people to Jesus and have experience in teaching others to do the same
- You are a group minded leader who thrives on empowering leaders and handing over ownership
- You have 5+ years in ministry experience (vocationally or as a volunteer leader)
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Model what it looks like to disciple others by prioritizing disciple-making in your own life
- Work with the Discipleship Team to create rhythms and tools to help disciples grow in their relationship with Jesus, grow in their competency, and become better equipped to multiply themselves
- Research and develop new and creative strategies to incorporate into LifeBridge’s disciple-making methods
- Develop content for groups, disciple-making, and the church as a whole to lead people in their next steps
- Partner with the Care Pastor and staff team to provide pastoral care and counseling within our church body and our community
- Coordinate with the Connections Director and Connections Team to make first steps and next steps available to everyonE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, develop, and mentor key staff and volunteers as they engage in discipleship
- Develop and implement a long-term plan to ensure a strong discipleship pathway, accessible for everyone at LifeBridge
- Establish and communicate clear vision, goals and plans
- Create and manage operational budgets for the Discipleship Ministry
