New Life Community Church in Wendell, Idaho is looking for a new Lead Pastor. Our current Pastor is retiring. We trust that God will lead the right person to us and in a timeline that will allow for a time of mentorship and guidance. We are a small town Idaho church, in a small community that is welcoming and excited about the Word of God. This is a portion of our job description. Lead Pastor Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the spiritual leader of the church, demonstrating overall vision of the ministry.
- Provide leadership to the Consistory and ministry teams.
- Directly supervise the work of the Youth and Worship Leader, Director of Family Ministries, and Administrative Assistant. Coach staff as needed for encouragement, empowerment, and gaining knowledge.
- Participate in evangelism and spiritual leadership of the church:
- Lead as President of Consistory meetings.
- Oversee Consistory training, education, and mentoring.
- Support Ministry Team leaders in their leadership of Ministry Teams
- Oversee and/or facilitate the small groups active within the church.
- Model personal holiness and a healthy Christian lifestyle for the purpose of Godliness and

Requirements
- Seminary Graduate (M. Div) the equivalent theological education, or Commissioned Pastor
- Assume reasonable denominational responsibilities.
- Participate in pastoral network and attempt to maintain good relationships with other local pastors and churches.
- Participate at both the local and regional level in Alliance of Reformed Churches networking events.
- Be committed to the biblical position on human sexuality and the sanctity of life.
- Lead in accordance with biblical truth, Reformed theology, creeds and doctrines.
