KCC's governance style is a "staff-led, Elder Protected church. KCC has seven men/women who rotate every three years on what we call the "Board of Servant Leaders." The lead pastor hires and fires his ministry team and is considered the church leader. The Board of Servant Leaders(BOSL) is a team and trust group assimilated for lead pastor protection, integrity accountability, and budget oversight. The BOSL hires and fires the lead pastor, and the lead pastor hires and fires his staff, which is all based on team and trust.
We are praying for a lead pastor who leads in the style of Ephesians 4:11-17. We desire a pastor who trains and equips the congregation to serve using their gifts and strengths, leads by example, and knows how to delegate and lead enthusiastically. KCC believes Church life should be fun, exciting, and life-changing.
KCC used to have 300 people in weekend attendance before a Church fire(2019) followed by Covid-19 shutdowns. We are ready to reinstate our contemporary service, add Small Group Ministries with sermon-based discussions and studies, and refurbish our kitchen to reinstate our community harvest supper, where more than 1,000 people attend.
We want to grow and are primed to do so.
