Hayward Wesleyan Church (HWC) of Hayward, Wisconsin, seeks a gifted lead pastor
who will advance our mission “to connect every life to Jesus.” While HWC is anchored
in The Wesleyan Church, our thriving congregation comes together from many
backgrounds to love one another, grow in grace, and make Jesus known to our
community and world.
We are located in the northwoods of Wisconsin, one of the most popular vacation and
relocation destinations in the Midwest. Blessed with a 15+ acre campus, three associate
pastors, and a support staff of five, Hayward Wesleyan has a high profile in our
community and strives to share the Gospel holistically with our neighbors and visitors.
Our many forms of outreach include a food pantry, recovery groups, concerts, sports
leagues—even hosting cross-country skiers during the annual Birkebeiner.
HWC is a cohesive body of believers who are engaged in a Kingdom mission, as
apparent in these signals: 13 recently baptized; 30+ small groups for Bible study and
fellowship; 100 community children enrolled in VBS or after-school Followers; 40 in
weekly youth group; a global missions program that supports 20 missionaries and 28
people on short-term missions.
Anyone who is a credentialed minister in The Wesleyan Church—or is credentialed in
another Bible-believing denomination and is willing to move their credentials to the
