Worship Pastor

We are seeking a talented and passionate worship leader to join our team as a Worship Pastor. As a Worship Pastor, you will play a vital role in creating an atmosphere of heartfelt worship and leading our congregation into the presence of God. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our worship ministry, including leading the worship team, selecting and arranging music, and developing the musical skills of our volunteers. If you have exceptional musical talent, a deep love for God, and a desire to lead others into a deeper worship experience, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of musicians and volunteers, collaborating to create powerful worship services that connect with our diverse congregation. You will have the freedom to explore modern worship styles and incorporate elements from popular worship bands like Hillsong, Passion, Vertical Church, Elevation, and more. Additionally, you will have the chance to develop and mentor new musicians, equipping them to serve in our worship ministry and grow in their own musical abilities.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss and coordinate church & worship-related activities.
• Lead and oversee Wednesday night student worship services, ensuring a meaningful worship experience for the students.
• Plan, organize and lead worship services in collaboration with the Pastor, ensuring that they are well-structured and spiritually impactful.
• Utilize Saturdays as a day of rest and rejuvenation, with the office being closed to observe a Sabbath.
• Maintain flexible office hours, as this is a full-time position requiring availability for various responsibilities.
• Manage and update the design of the church's website, ensuring it accurately reflects the ministry's values and activities.
• Attend and actively participate in a LifeGroup, either as a leader or regular member, fostering spiritual growth and community among church members.
• Provide oversight and support to various ministries within the church, offering pastoral care and encouragement to members involved.
• Oversee all creative aspects of weekly services, including aspects such as worship, lighting, video wall, media elements, print materials, and web content.
• Prepare and effectively communicate for occasional Sunday morning speaking opportunities, delivering messages that inspire and challenge the congregation.
• Maintain a positive attitude, displaying a joyful and enthusiastic demeanor in ministry and interactions with others.
• Demonstrate a passion and drive for evangelism and reaching the unchurched, actively seeking opportunities to share the Gospel.
• Exhibit a high commitment to the local church, prioritizing its growth and success through personal dedication and involvement.
• Based on personal giftings, allocate 10-15 hours weekly to assist the Senior Pastor in other areas of ministry, including administration, children's and youth ministries, and special outreach projects. These hours are included in the work week and not in addition to regular responsibilities.
