PURPOSE
The Student Pastor’s primary responsibility is to oversee the continued development and management of the Student ministry at Lifeway Church Celina, and to oversee the overall spiritual health of the Student ministry, through the recruiting and developing of small group leaders, the care and shepherding of existing small group leaders, and the continued development and improvement of the student ministry. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, highly relational leader who has a strong sense of ownership over areas of responsibility, a vision for maximizing the student and family experience, as well as a passion for discipling students and leaders through biblical community.

HOURS
The Student Pastor is an FLSA exempt / salaried role. Though hours will vary, they are generally Monday - Thursday from 8am - 4pm and Sunday from 8a – 1:00pm. For Wednesdays hours will differ (10am-8:30pm) and during sports seasons hours may vary to accommodate attending student sporting events, speaking at Pep Rallies/FCA, and meeting with students. Seasons such as Easter and Christmas, or planned, large-scale events may require additional days and/or hours.
COMPENSATION
Commensurate with knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. Lifeway Church offers a semi-monthly salary, a medical stipend for the purchase of health insurance, as well as a generous amount of paid time off each year.
