Senior Pastor is the spiritual leader of the church and is responsible to share and teach the biblical truths, engage in pastoral care, and to provide administrative leadership in all areas of church life and function.
Fairview First Methodist Church is prayerfully and actively searching for a Pastor to lead us into the next stages of our faith journey. Fairview First is a recently disaffiliated, multi-generational family of God, growing in faith and looking forward to missional and evangelical growth as we help others become followers of Jesus. Fairview is located in rural Northwest Oklahoma providing a quality of life that is difficult to find in today’s society. We are a warm and welcoming community of honest people who still value a handshake and conversation over coffee. The community has a school system that is recognized for academic, athletic and band achievement. Three different four-year colleges are located within driving distance of Fairview. The community boasts several manufacturing and retail facilities, hospital, and clinic as well as a historic volunteer run local movie theater that is capable of first run movies. In addition to the mentioned industries the economy is driven by a combination of agriculture and energy.
