About the Church
Then and Now
The church was planted in 1973 by like-minded Baptists from the then Rocky Mountain Conservative Baptist Association. In 1975, three acres (at the southwest corner of Highway 90 and Spring Creek Road) were donated for this church. We are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year. We have had only four pastors in those 50 years. The church is an attractive and well-maintained building with a sanctuary capable of seating over 200 people, a basement with elevator, five classrooms, a full kitchen, and a fellowship area that seats approximately 80 people. We also have a smaller building for additional needs. The church is currently averaging 100 people each Sunday.
The Church
Our church is a part of the Rocky Mountain Church Venture Network. We believe in the infallible, inerrant Word of God, contained in the Bible, and this is central to our teaching and preaching. We are a solid core of committed people who have faithfully led and supported our church for years. We are a biblically literate church committed to the authority and centrality of God’s word. We are a generous church and give joyfully of our tithes and offerings, and we support missionaries both here and abroad. We strive to make disciples and to endeavor to help believers grow in the grace and knowledge of the Savior. We worship and serve a triune God, and that is central to the life of our church family. Prayer is practiced in all aspects of our ministry, and we believe it is a gift from God.
