Preschool Ministry Director and Kids Special Events Director

This role is a full-time role, reporting directly to the Kids Ministry Director. The role leads volunteers and contractors and partners directly with other Next Gen team members at other Local Church locations.

Job Description:

• Provide leadership and execution of engaging Preschool environments (Birth - PreK).
• Communicate regularly and effectively to parents and volunteers.
• Recruit, train, schedule, develop, care for, and celebrate volunteers.
• Practice good stewardship of all church resources (money, equipment, building, and time).
• Partner with other ministries on the Local Church Next Gen Team:
  • Special Needs Coordinator as it relates to Preschool environments and children.
  • Kids Director for smooth transitions into Elementary and collaborative events.
  • Other Local Churches.
• Provide safe and secure environments for our children and volunteers.
• Manage and be held accountable for the Preschool budget.
• Curriculum preparation for the Preschool ministry.
• Oversee Preschool weekday volunteers for curriculum prep (recruit, train, and foster relationships).
• Purchase and stock snacks for the volunteer room and the Clubhouse room.
• Send volunteer communication reminders via social media and texting app.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports for postcard mailings.
• Participate in regular Local Kids content meetings.
• Oversee and provide leadership for Special Events in Kids Ministry (ie Open House, Baby Dedication, Summer Camps, Jump Up Sunday, Easter/Good Friday, Christmas).
• Live out the mission, vision, and values of Local Church and the Next Gen ministry.
