Function
The Children’s Pastor will serve as an advocate for the families of East Lake Community Church. Our children’s pastor will equip and empower a diverse team of servant leaders who partner with parents to provide discipleship for the children of our church family and in our community partnerships. The children’s pastor will partner with the broader Family Ministry team to ensure we are loving and serving the spiritual, emotional, and relational needs of the entire family. Responsible for providing support to the family pastor and other pastoral acts (weddings, baptisms, funerals).

Qualifications
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree or actively enrolled and pursuing a degree from a university. A degree in theology, ministry, or a related field is preferred, as well as experience working in a children’s ministry or related field.
Experience
This position requires at least 3 years of experience in pastoral ministry and demonstrated giftedness in the areas of responsibility.
