Position Summary:
Oversee the programs involved in engaging new and existing members of the church in spiritual growth opportunities through service and discipleship.
Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
- Create and coordinate new Life Groups (off-campus and on-campus)
- Select books/curriculum for Life Groups
- Oversee the recruitment and training of volunteers that are first points of contact for worshippers on Sunday mornings (i.e.: Greeters, Ushers, Welcome Center Hosts, and Golf Cart drivers)
- Assist with volunteer-led ministries.
- Help coordinate large church-wide events including: Fall and Spring gatherings, and discipleship kick-offs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years experience desired in a larger church setting preferred.
- 2-3 years discipleship experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate campus multiple times per day.
- Be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work odd hours, especially during church-wide events.
