The Productions Director works closely with other creative staff on the weekend team as a positive, solution-focused leader. This position is responsible for video lighting and audio leadership, support and the development of media to expand the reach of Charity Church in the community at large. In all actions, this role reflects the Charity Church team leadership distinctives.
- Video, audio and Lighting Production
- Oversee the planning, shooting, and producing video content for weekend services and other ministries such as Children and Student ministries. This would also include testimonial videos, starting point materials, series bumpers, announcement, welcome, promotional videos, and sermon support notes
- Troubleshooting various issues regarding video, camera, lighting and audio.
- Recruit, train and develop a team of volunteers to support video, audio, lighting production
- Develop and maintain a standardized quality of excellence in all production
- Maintain schedule of volunteers for all video, lightin and audio production needs quarterly in advance.
- Oversee and continue to create a production studio that is currently in place
- Oversee and maintain all technology areas. Currently these include:
- Three screens in sanctuary (want to update to LED walls or open to your ideas)
- Live Stream (Facebook, YouTube)
- Projector System in Sanctuary and all streaming throughout building to screens.
- Lighting Systems (Also open to your expertise as we need to upgrade)
- Coordinate repairs with vendors for audio/video equipment.
- Work closely with Communications director/Worship Pastor/Lead Pastor on Video/digital graphic support for weekly sermons

- Live Production
- Train, schedule, evaluate, and lead a volunteer-based team in video, audio, and lighting roles for services/programs/events including camera operators and engineers, audio and lighting engineers
- Responsible to develop, review and test all video and media and productions shown on behalf of Charity Church
- Oversee the capture, playback and LiveStream processes
- Help to develop an online church communicty through your ministry
- Maintain video production room technology and equipment in working order
3. Social Media

- Work closely with communications director with any input to enhance and coordinate productions mininstry effectiveness.
- Creating and maintaining effective social media presence that captures the spirit of Charity
- Miscellaneous Duties
- Foster a shared standardized experience and workflow throughout all production representation of Charity
- Participate in the creative process for series development, weekend review and planning meetings
- Manage Productions budget for all media/lighting/and audio.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to existing equipment
- Make recommendations and provide clear direction for future spaces and upgrades
- Help create a culture of creativity while being unafraid to experiment and try new styles things.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and earned degrees and/or other training that has equipped them for the duties of the role
- 3 years full-time proven Productions expertise experience
- Experience with ProPresenter, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier and after-effects, Black-magic products, and Google Office Suite, D-Live Audio board, in ear monitor system, Lighting systems (we are in current need to update)...we use Hog thru computer systeme currently.
- Ability to manage budget
- Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership
- Effective interpersonal and relational skills; proficiency in communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision
- Teamwork orientation with ability to recruit, train, lead and motivate others
- Believes in and is Biblically aligned with the core beliefs and values of Charity Church as expressed in our Constitution and By-Laws.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in specific field of video/media communication or productions
Further Responsibilities:
- Continue being a student, furthering your personal education, be mentored and a mentor
- Work well with others
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to engage in strenuous activities job related. Ie: mobility to access and move equipment. Also handle strenuous work environments that may include heavy lifting and other exertive tasks. May require use of ladders, lifts, and stairs.
- Able to move freely in and out of different settings (homes, churches, businesses).
