First Baptist Church is searching for a Youth Pastor who is passionate about spending their life to see the gospel transform the next generation by partnering with parents in the discipleship process of their teenagers. The main focus of the position will be to:
- connect students to Jesus
- help them grow in their discipleship
- create relevant worship experiences
- engage students in missions and ministry
We are positioned for growth in our youth ministry. The ideal candidate will one who relishes the opportunity to use our top-notch resources and build a regionally-known group for FBC, Eugene, and Lane County.

- Intellectually Vibrant – Someone who has their pulse on the current and emerging challenges facing youth and the intellectual ability to equip youth to discover biblical clarity for the issues they are facing.
- A Forward-Thinking Leader – Someone who is visionary who will look for ways the youth ministry can add momentum to the overall discipleship goals of the church and lead toward that by designing clear course of action and implementing the steps necessary to move their ministry forward.
- Passionate about Growth – Someone who recognizes and keeps up with the rapidly changing dynamics of youth ministry and believes that human flourishing comes from growing in Christlikeness and thus is passionate about fostering growth in themselves and others.
