High School Pastor

DESCRIPTION
Lead and teach the high school students of Palmcroft Church to live like Jesus Christ.

SUMMARY
The goal of this position is shepherding, leading, and teaching high school students through various programs and in various environments. Programs include Sunday morning classes, Wednesday night youth group, Student Missionary Internship (SMI), Winter Camp, Summer Camp, Vacation Bible School, and short-term missions trips. Environments range from small group gatherings to very large camps at Lost Canyon in Williams, AZ. The High School Pastor also leads an adult volunteer team in accomplishing the mission of the church.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reports directly to the Next Generation Pastor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights
• Coordinate and execute Winter Camp, Summer Camp, and Student Missionary Internship
• Partner with other ministries for Vacation Bible School, Christmas Festival, Easter Services, Christmas Services, etc.
• Disciple and counsel students and parents
• Lead adult sponsor team and student leadership team
• Actively participate with the student ministry team
• Maintain the student ministry budget
• Align student ministry vision with the overall vision and mission of Palmcroft Church

OFFICE HOURS

• Sunday: 8 AM to 12 PM
• Monday: 8 Am to 5 PM
• Tuesday: 8a AM to 5 PM
• Wednesday: 8 AM to 9 PM
• Thursday: 8 AM to 5 PM
• Friday/Saturday: Off
• Total = 40 hours
• Workload will increase during Camps, VBS, and SMI
