Oasis Church Student Pastor
One of the core values at Oasis Church is investing in the lives of kids and students. The Oasis Student Pastor will be responsible for the oversight and discipleship of students and families. The Oasis Student Pastor must have a passion for the Lord and
a desire to connect and invest in others.
Oasis is a growing, healthy church that is stepping into a new season that further emphasizes the importance of living out the Gospel. Our vision is "Know God and Make God Known." The student pastor will be pivotal in helping disciple, equip and connect
with families.
Ormond Beach is a thriving town only minutes from the ocean. The city is poised for growth and it's an amazing place to live, raise a family, and do ministry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute weekly gatherings for students.
- Recruit, train, and disciple leaders.
- Be the primary preacher/communicator for student ministries.
- Oversee assimilation and all forms of communication, including social media for students and their families.
- Be responsible for the student ministry budget.
- Plan regular outings and annual retreats.
- Connect with students in the local area by attending local, sports games, plays etc.
What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:
- Someone who can effectively cast vision to students, leaders, and families.
- A collaborative thinker who enjoys working on a team.
- Someone who enjoys and seeks ways to have fun.
- An individual who wants to swing for the fences and take calculated risks.
- Someone who knows off the top of their head what the #9 is at Taco Bell.
- A confident teacher who is willing to occasionally preach to the whole congregation.
- Someone who wants to invest in students' lives for a significant season.
- An individual who has an eye for detail.
