POSITION: Worship Leader
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Senior Pastor
INTRODUCTION: Lake Havasu Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Worship Leader to organize and lead the church praise team in presenting praise and worship music to the congregation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- At least one year of experience as a worship leader and/or sound/video director or equivalent.

- Working knowledge of Pro Presenter, NL Editing Software (Premier), Graphic Editing Software (PhotoShop), and audio mixing and recording.

- This position requires a heart for Jesus. This role will require a constant pursuit of excellence both on and off the platform and steady growth as a follower of Christ.

PURPOSE: To serve the church by developing, coordinating, and administering an effective and well-rounded music program and providing leadership to and supervision of staff members and volunteers involved in this ministry.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruiting and developing a worship team, video/sound team, and vocalists.
- Preparation for leading weekly rehearsals, and consulting with Senior Pastor to coordinate the music for the Sunday services.
- Manage and develop worship and sound/video budgets.
- Requires 15 to 20 hours weekly.
RELATIONSHIP
- Reports to the senior pastor.
- Working relationship with Family Ministry Director, Administration, and Treasurer.
