This is a Senior Leader opportunity at a large multi-site, growing, and very diverse church that has a huge influence and impact in the great Puget Sound region. This church has planted, replanted churches, and deployed leaders to some of the largest fastest growing churches in the greater Seattle area. The church has grown post-pandemic to a combined attendance of over 4000, with 2,500 on campus. The church is financially healthy, has an incredible staff team and board, and is ready for an even expanded impact in the region. 


Position Description

The lead pastor will be an articulate advocate and communicator for the vision of the church. Our new lead pastor will partner with our team of elders and pastors as the primary communicator and leader.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities…
  • The lead pastor will work with the board and executive staff in establishing the vision of the church.
  • The lead pastor will also work in conjunction with the staff and key leaders in the implementation of the mission and vision of the church.
  • The lead pastor must be adept at creating high-performing teams and empowering and attracting leaders that can bring those ideas and efforts to fruition.
  • The lead pastor will be an outstanding communicator.
  • The lead pastor will preach relatable and engaging sermons that speak to seekers and seasoned believers.
  • The lead pastor will have a passion for truth and a proven commitment to preaching in a biblically faithful life-giving way.
  • The lead pastor will preach at least 30-35 times in a calendar year.
  • The lead pastor will be a strategic thinker, a person of faith, creativity, and vision.
  • The lead pastor will demonstrate a lifestyle of personal evangelism and continued discipleship.

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

Educational, theological, and experiential requirements …

  • The lead pastor will have an undergraduate degree, with a graduate-level degree preferred from an accredited theological seminary.
  • The lead pastor will be Wesleyan and egalitarian.
  • The lead pastor will be a champion of evangelism and diversity
  • The lead pastor will have 7+ years of experience as a Lead Pastor or member of an executive leadership team.
  • The lead pastor will have experience with a diverse staff and congregation.
  • The lead pastor will preferably have experience in a multi-site model of ministry.
