Job Summary:
Provide oversight and responsibility for the buildings, grounds, parking lots, equipment, building systems, general security, and housekeeping, ensuring the facilities are fully operational, safe, clean, neat, and prepared for weekend services and ministry
activities. Oversee and perform maintenance/repairs at campuses, including equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and property, or act as church representative with outside contractors and inspectors coming onto the property or into the building.
Required competencies:
Problem solving skills, general knowledge of HVAC and security systems, building management, groundskeeping systems and management. Can make a floor shine while having enough handyman skills to have your own YouTube Channel. OSHA 10 DOL Card or willingness
to obtain.
Required Results:
- Provides leadership and direction for facilities in partnership with central facilities for the campus
- Spends majority of their time on site where projects are taking place and leads by example
- A clean and cared for building is the first step that allows for a good first impression for guests
- Leads effective systems and communication for facility volunteer team
- Consistently finds the best solution that moves the campus forward in facilities
Responsibilities:
Facilities
- Provide a Safe and Clean Place for People to Find and Follow Jesus
- Own the facilities – make it personal
- Lead and assist in grounds and landscaping projects
- Work with Central Ops in managing and overseeing the security systems and camera systems at all buildings
- Janitorial process management – maintaining a high-level system that sets the campus up for success with stocking, ordering, and planning
- Oversight for all campus preventative and corrective maintenance and projects
- Keeping the Campus at the perfect comfort level, not too hot and not too cold is the win for this position
Service Involvement
- Ensures that campus facility status is communicated with campus pastor and the team is set up to win every weekend within facilities
Administration
- Aware of the weak spots / strong spots within all facilities and help develop a strategy to move forward
- Embrace Checklist and timely communication in Basecamp
- Hold your volunteer teams accountable to the systems and structures of North Point
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with Central Facilities/Central Ops
- Maintain relationships with any outside contractors or vendors
- Lead in being a good steward with funds available
Pastoral Care
- Timely follow up through workflows on PCO
- Ability to meet with people in a personal setting
- Discernment in how to care for people as the situation needs
All-Staff Responsibilities

- Cultivating, retaining, and celebrating volunteers and interns
- Moderate physical demands may include lifting up to 51.3 pounds, standing and sitting long periods, push/pull/reaching

Hours per week: 40+ hours Sunday through Thursday with flexibility for other times for special events.
