Worship Leader

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes but not limited to:

• Collaborate with volunteers in weekend worship experiences.
• Must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ.
• Must be able to play an instrument (piano and guitar preferable).
• Lead the congregation in worship on the weekends and other worship gatherings.
• Provide coaching with volunteer personnel in worship.
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, direct reports and support personnel to achieve common goals.
• Participate and lead all rehearsals.
• Recruit, audition, and facilitate the development of all stage personnel.
• Provide relief and support to other campus worship teams as needed.
• Be coachable and flexible according to the needs of Senior Leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocal and instrumental ability.
• Interpersonal skills and patience working with different levels of worship volunteers.
• Ability to develop others.
• Strong time management skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This job will be responsible for the recruitment and supervision of volunteer, contract musicians and vocalists.
