Operations Pastor (One Church Team)

The Pastor of Operations will oversee all analysis, planning, and forecasting activities relating to the ministries and operations of the church. Oversee the stewardship function, including analysis of giving and communication with new givers and lapsed givers. Will also, develop Security and Medical Response Teams for each campus with through the Director of Security.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
• Assists other staff members, when needed, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies.
• Pursue and champion Emotionally Healthy Spiritualty by “I am faithfully and fervently loving God and people from an honest heart and purified soul.”
• Basic personal responsibilities:
  • Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation.
  • Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
  • Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, oversees, and evaluates all components of the budgeting function.
• Prepares and manages the budget for all Church Operations (excluding personnel costs) within the parameters established by the Lead Pastor of Operations, the Finance Ministry Team, and the Personnel Ministry Team.
• Assist the Lead Pastor of Operations in determining operating policies and procedures to include budget management, inventory of fixed assets, employee benefits, property and liability insurance, security, and Medical Response Team.
• Establishes goals and objectives for this function and initiates strategies to fulfill them.
• Administers the church credit card program.
• Oversees the stewardship function of Pinelake Church by assessing current giving and recommending strategies to engage those attending Pinelake Church regarding giving. Coordinating ministry opportunities identified with the appropriate ministry.
• Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of the church mission and strategies.
• Works closely with the Finance Ministry Team to communicate Pinelake’s financial position.
• Regularly communicates with executive management, peers, and subordinates the strategies and activities of the business operations function.
• Interfaces with specific ministry teams that support the Church Operations as prescribed by the “Pinelake Church Constitution and By-Laws” and/or Elders.
• Conducts daily personal prayer time and devotional studies and attends seminars, workshops, and other forms of continuing education as a means of self-development and growth.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and five to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
