Christ Community Church is a non-denominational church located in central Wisconsin with 400 regular attendees. We are looking for a unique position which combines all Christian Education and both domestic and international missions. The Executive Pastor
must have a heart for both Christian Education and missions and be willing to travel to Africa every year to oversee projects there. Our current Senior Pastor will train the Executive Pastor on missions’ responsibilities. This is a full-time position with
a complete compensation package. Responsibilities will be about 75% family ministry and 25% missions.
Leading Family Ministries
- Oversee Sunday morning children’s classes.
- Oversee Youth Ministry and may be required to serve as Youth Pastor for Fall and Spring semesters (2023-2024) until a Youth Leader is recruited.
- Monitor and assist Youth Pastor as a mentor.
- Oversee all Connection Groups. This does not require active participation, just oversight.
- Oversee AWANA program. There is a very good staff that is ready to support a new leader.
- Manage, recruit, and train teachers and volunteers.
- Recruit, oversee, train, and lead ushers and greeters.
- With the staff, promote the ministry to the church and community.
- Ability to preach a plus, but not required.
- Perform pastoral care which includes visitation.
Leading Missions Programs
- Lead the Foundation for Hope in Africa as Executive Director (once approved by that Board of Directors. (This is a separate 501C3 established by our current Senior Pastor who will retire in September 2025). Work with and lead the FFHIA Board of Directors.
- Raise awareness and funding for Africa missions in the local church and other organizations.
- Travel to African countries at least once each year for 2 weeks reviewing completed projects and scouting for new projects (schools, water wells, orphanages etc).
- Oversee Community Action Partnership (CAP). This is our local food pantry that serves 250-300 monthly. CAP operates with strong leaders so this is an oversight role.
- Develop and facilitate partnerships with other local missions organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- CCC is a non-denominational congregation that adheres more closely with a full-gospel approach to ministry in a Wesley/Arminian tradition. An Assembly of God minister, or similar, would be the best fit for this position.
- CCC has a FT Associate Pastor, PT Worship Leader, PT Spanish Minister, and PT Visitation Minister. We also have paid musicians with an excellent worship band.
- We have two services on Sunday and the AWANA and Youth Programs are on Wednesday evenings.
