Job title:                                       Kid’s Pastor 

Reporting to:                                Kelly Goins

Salary:                                          $40,000 - $55,000 yearly salary with benefits depending on experience and qualifications

Hours:                                           9:30am-12:30pm Sundays Mornings

                                              6-8:30pm Wednesday Nights

                                                    9am-5pm Monday-Thursday 
                                                    Available as needed by the Pastor

Location:                                       Faith Church Tulsa

Purpose of the position:              Pastor the children of the church, ages 0-11 years old.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

1. Oversee all programming and ministry for children ages birth – 5th grade, including Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, summer programming, special events, etc...
2. Create environments, activities and programming for each age group that will facilitate learning and encourage spiritual growth.
3. Recruit volunteers.
4. Provide leadership, direction and training for all children’s ministry volunteers.
5. Lead and develop a team culture.
6. Oversee and maintain the logistics of ensuring a safe and secure environment for kids and families.
7. Train and equip parents to spiritually lead their children.
8. Oversee childcare for all-church events as directed including, but not limited to, Sunday Services, Wednesday Night activities, special meeting, conferences, and events.
9. Maintain all ministry spaces by keeping a high standard of cleanliness, organization and aesthetics.
10. Oversee kids’ check-in for all children and a follow-up system for all new families and kids who visit or attend.
11. Manage/track ministry budget.

Relationships:

25. Reports to the Lead Pastor.
26. Supervises and directs Faith Kids staff.
27. Receives consistent leadership training and evaluation from Lead Pastor.
28. Will be a part of the Pastoral Leadership Team.
29. Works closely with all areas of ministries within Faith Church.
30. You will be asked to agree to our Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct outlined in the Employee Handbook.

ACADEMIC & SKILLS: 

Bachelor’s degree

5 years of Classroom experience
Social Media and Computer literate.

Growing and evident relationship with Christ

WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Must be a hard worker that gets things done. Must work well with Children and Parents. Must be detailed and dependable.  Must fit Faith Church’s ministry culture.
