Beach Church, a growing and vibrant church is seeking a new Family Pastor. Located two blocks from the ocean in Jacksonville Beach, FL, we are beach casual but relentless and passionate about our mission to reach, raise up and release followers of Jesus to change the world. We have embarked on a five-year 2025 multiply vision to become a church that multiplies disciples who make disciples. We are a church that embraces the Orange philosophy and is looking for a dynamic leader who will help us live into being an Orange church through and through.
The new Family Pastor will be the champion for the next generation at Beach Church. They will oversee three key departments (Beach Students, Beach Kids and the Beach Early Learning Center) and lead them to engage our students, kids and families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Their primary focus will begin in Student Ministry working with our strong staff and volunteer teams. Over time this Pastor will then take on the responsibility of all three departments. They will have a pastor’s heart, understanding that a major function of their calling is to shepherd, develop, lead and raise up others. They will uphold and champion the mission, vision and values of Beach Church through all next generation endeavors and environments.
This Family Pastor will have extensive experience in next generation ministry. Ideally they will be someone who can cast compelling vision, raise up leaders, give ministry away, engage parents as the most strategic resource in discipling kids/students, teaching the Word of God with authority, develop long term strategy and bring a pastoral presence and heart to our Family Ministries.
