Hope Community Church is a Jesus centered Converge Church (converge.org) outside of Green Bay, WI.  We are seeking a Worship Leader to help us multiply and grow disciples through the ministry of worship.

We are a Bible based, relational and regional church with a weekly attendance of 500-600 with the goal of going multi-site soon.  Our mission is to reach our region with the Living Hope of Jesus so that they lived changed lives impacting the world for His glory. (shawanochurch.org) We have a fun staff team that seeks to be relevant with our culture while still sharing the never changing good news of Jesus. 

Abbreviated Job Description:

The Worship Pastor/Director position will be responsible for the overall leadership of the worship and technical ministries at Hope Community Church, while championing Hope’s DNA.  Their three primary responsibilities will be to:

1. Oversee the Worship Ministries of Sunday morning and mid-week services.
2. Develop and Lead the Worship Team
3. Oversee Worship Arts and Technology- stage, screen, and sound.

Education and Experience

• A Biblical or theological education or special training in ministry is preferred, being a lifelong learner is a necessity.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a worship leadership role is preferred.
• Must be aligned with Hope’s Statement of Faith.

Practical Skills:

• The Worship Leader must be able to lead well vocally, lead worship with an instrument (piano and/or guitar proficiency is a plus!) and be experienced with multi-tracks.
• The Worship Leader should be highly relational and approachable, able to connect with people from all walks of life.
• The Worship Leader should have strong organizational and time management skills.
• The Worship Leader should have a proven track record of recruiting and developing worship team members.

Salary:  Very competitive and dependent on experience and education.

Hours: 45 hours per week
